Our Volunteer Dedication
Our dedicated Simcoe Strong volunteer Jan Sparling has implemented a phenomenal new Intergenerational Program – Sewing for Ages.

This new exciting program has been celebrated and showcased by our local press, Collingwood Today, with a feature piece published June 13th. Two reporters from Collingwood Today visited Sunset Manor and experienced the joy and gratification this program offers. In this program, young girls are being taught the skill of sewing. Their product of fidget blankets are given to residents at Sunset Manor. This product is quite valuable to the residents at Sunset Manor as fidget are quite therapeutic and beneficial to individuals with Dementia.
