The following roads will receive minor rehabilitation work during the 2026 construction season:
- County Road 21 – County Road 53 to County Road 27 (Town of Innisfil / Township of Essa)
Road resurfacing is scheduled to commence on May 4th and is anticipated to be completed by June 19th.
This work will include recycling the existing asphalt pavement and placing additional hot mix asphalt pavement and shouldering material.
Construction Schedule and Traffic Impacts
Work will take place Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
During construction, the contractor will maintain one lane of traffic with alternating directions through the work zone, controlled by trained traffic control personnel.
We kindly ask for your patience while this work is underway. Every effort will be made to minimize delays and disruptions.
Emergency services, school buses and transit will always have priority servicing.
- County Road 21 – Kallen Blvd. to County Road 56 (Township of Essa)

- County Road 52 – @ Moynes Road (Township of Severn)
Rock removal at the corner of County Road 52 & Moynes will commence on May 5th with an anticipated completion date of May 16th.
This will include removing a large rock cropping at the corner of County Road 52 & Moynes road as well as along County Road 52 to improved site lines for motorists entering County Road 52.

Further road resurfacing will be completed later this summer on County Road 52 between Muskoka Street and the Severn River.

Hot mix paving repair at Den Boer – This work should be completed Monday May 11th should the weather cooperate.
