French Language Services at Georgian Manor
Did you know that approximately 20% of residents and 10% of staff at Georgian Manor are French speaking? (2021). Georgian Manor is an “Identified health-service provider” for French language services (FLS) and is committed to the improvement and delivery of FLS to its clientele in accordance with existing capacity.
Georgian Manor’s official language of work is English. However, staff members and volunteers are encouraged to use the official language where appropriate, including with francophone residents to meet their needs. Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset when applying to work at Georgian Manor. For more information on current services available in French, please contact Beatrice Jean, French Language Services Coordinator at (705) 726-9300 or email: Beatrice.
