County Road 27 WILLOW CREEK BRIDGE REHABILITATION


Willow Creek Bridge has been in service since 1968 and the structure was rehabilitated in 2000.  County of Simcoe is undertaking a bridge rehabilitation to extend the service life of the structure and make other improvements including replacement of bridge barriers and new steel beam guiderails to improve traffic safety and asphalt pavement to improve driving comfort over the bridge.

Timelines (subject to change as project proceeds​)


Construction will begin in May 2024 and continue until November 2024.

Impacts to drivers and neighbours


Construction will be staged to allow one lane of traffic in each direction.  Delay and queuing at the bridge is anticipated during construction.

Please be safe and use caution when driving through the construction zone.
