Age-Friendly Business and Organization Recognition Awards
Businesses and organizations demonstrating a commitment to age-friendly practices can complete the the Assessment Guide to help assess their Age-Friendly practices at their business or organization and complete an Application to receive an award and the following complimentary items:
- A complimentary digital marketing package valued at over $350 (conditions apply)
- A certificate and window decal to showcase your commitment
- Recognition through a County press release, social media, and the County website

Businesses and organizations nominated that meet the Age-Friendly criteria will receive:

2025 Age-Friendly Business Recognition Awards
The County of Simcoe celebrated the contributions of businesses and individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to creating age-friendly communities during the County of Simcoe Age-Friendly Recognition Awards Ceremony held on October 7, 2025.
13 businesses were recognized for taking decisive action to increase awareness of the specific needs of our aging population and for taking the time to participate and contribute towards making the County of Simcoe a more age-friendly environment that will ultimately serve everyone.
