The Age-Friendly Business Guide and Award Program promotes increased awareness of the County’s aging population and helps businesses and organizations to evaluate their business environment and service delivery to older adults.

2025 Age-Friendly Business/Organization Guide and Award Program
The 2025 Age-Friendly Business Recognition Awards Program will be launching May 1st 2025 and will run until August 31st 2025.
The 2025 Business / Organization Guide and Application Form and the 2025 Business Nomination Form will be available May 1st 2025.
The Age-Friendly Business and Organization Awards Program helps Business owners to assess if their business or organization is designed to serve individuals of all ages and abilities through the Age-Friendly Business Recognition Program self-evaluation checklist. As an integral part of the community, businesses and organizations can make a significant difference in making a community more livable and engaging for everyone.
The program acknowledges those who are working towards implementing Age-Friendly practices and who have demonstrated a willingness to continually maintain and improve by instituting and promoting best practices for serving individuals of all ages and abilities. Businesses and organizations that are currently implementing age-friendly business practices or are in the planning stages of becoming more age-friendly, we want to hear from you. If you have implemented new age-friendly practices since a previous Age-Friendly Business Recognition Award, we want to hear from you too!
