EP Week 2025: May 4-10, 2025
The theme for Emergency Preparedness (EP) Week 2025 is “Plan for every season”, with a focus on prolonged power outages and severe summer weather. Take some time this week to prepare for emergencies by knowing your risks, making a plan and preparing a kit!
The following products are now available for download:
- Power outages poster
- Heat illness safety one-pager
- Severe weather flyers (winter storms, extreme heat)
The team is also happy to share a series of informational tip sheets developed by the University of Waterloo’s Intact Centre. These sheets include important information on how to prepare for upcoming flood, fire and extreme heat seasons. To access Intact’s materials and infographics, visit the Intact Centre on Climate Adaptation website.
