Ongoing Virtual Professional Learning Opportunities

Big Ideas for the Care of Tiny Humans

The County of Simcoe, in collaboration with Sick Kids Infant and Early Mental Health Promotions and 20 other municipalities across the province, is excited to announce a new initiative with Dr. Jean Clinton and Lorrie McGee. Together, they have developed learning modules for early years professionals focused on infant and early mental health and wellness. We are pleased to offer free access to this 5-part virtual learning series. The modules cover the science of social-emotional development and explore core concepts of mental health and well-being. These modules are available in both English and French. Please note that the French facilitation guide will be available in the next few weeks. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge! The Giving Tree Story Bag online module

The Métis Nation of Ontario is excited to introduce The Giving Tree Story Bag online module. This resource helps Early Learning Professionals integrate Métis culture into their environments with practical strategies and dynamic learning centres. The module also provides a foundation for respectful engagement with Métis history and culture, highlighting examples of cultural appreciation and appropriation. This module is available in English only at this time and will be available in French in the next few months. Start learning today.
