Mulmur-Tosorontio Townline Bridge Replacement


Townline Bridge has been in service circa 1940 and has reached an end of useful life.  County of Simcoe is undertaking a bridge replacement to maintain this road crossing over the Mad River tributary and make other improvements including improving the road profile and installing new steel beam guiderails to improve traffic safety and driving comfort for this road segment.

Timelines (subject to change as project proceeds​)


Construction has started on June 17th, 2024 and will continue until November 2024.

Impacts to drivers and neighbours


Mulmur Tosorontio Townline will be closed for the duration of construction.  A detour route has been established using Tosorontio Sideroad 32 – Concession Road 2 – Tosorontio Sideroad 30.

Please be safe and use caution when driving through the construction zone.
