Thanksgiving 2022
Midhurst/October 6, 2022 – The County of Simcoe reminds residents of the following schedule changes during this Thanksgiving long weekend.
County Administration Centre (Midhurst)
- The Administration Centre will be closed to the public on Monday, October 10, 2022
Simcoe County Museum
- The Museum is open between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022

Simcoe County Archives
- The Archives are closed on Monday, October 10, 2022
Landfills and Curbside Waste Collection
- There will be no changes to your regular curbside waste collection schedule on the holiday. Ensure you have your materials curbside by 7 a.m. on your regular collection day
- All County Waste Facilities are closed on Monday, October 10, 2022 (with the exception of Matchedash)
LINX Transit
- LINX Transit services are not in operation on Monday, October 10, 2022 (with the exception of Route 4 Wasaga Beach to Collingwood, which will operate on a Sunday schedule)
- Regular schedules will resume on Tuesday, October 11, 2022

Ontario Works and Children Services Offices
- All Ontario Works and Children Services offices are closed on Monday, October 10, 2022
