Easter 2023
Midhurst/ April 4, 2023 – The County of Simcoe reminds residents of the following schedule changes during the holidays in April.
County Administration Centre (Midhurst)
- The Administration Centre will be closed to the public on Friday, April 7 (Good Friday) and Monday, April 10 (Easter Monday), including the Service Simcoe Contact Centre
Curbside Waste Collection & Landfills
- There will be NO changes to your regular curbside waste collection schedule. Please place your carts roadside on your regular collection day by 7 a.m.
- Leaf and Yard Waste Collections start on Monday, April 10 for Zone One. Check the Simcoe County Collects app for more details or click here
- All landfills are closed on Friday, April 7
- All landfills except Matchedash will be closed on Monday, April 10
LINX Transit
- LINX Transit services are not in operation on Friday, April 7, with the exception of Route 4, which will be operating on a Sunday schedule
- Route 4 will be operating on its normal schedule on Sunday, April 9
- All LINX Transit services will be operating on their regular schedules on Monday, April 10

Simcoe County Museum
- The Museum will be closed Friday, April 7 and Sunday, April 9 (Easter Sunday)
- Regular hours of operation resume on Monday, April 10 (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)

- The Archives are closed on Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10
Ontario Works Offices
- All Ontario Works offices are closed between Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10
