County of Simcoe to launch new Community Settlement Strategy


To be held Monday, December 4, 2023

​Midhurst/November 29, 2023 – The County of Simcoe is launching its new Community Settlement Strategy on December 4 at 3 p.m. at Georgian College’s ABSC Event Space located on the Barrie Campus. This Strategy will guide the Simcoe County Local Immigration Partnership (LIP) and direct program development for local service delivery organizations. It will also assist the County as it continues to support in the creation of welcoming communities by improving immigrant experiences living, working, and belonging in Simcoe County.

The event will include speeches from dignitaries, a presentation by Dr. Sunil Johal, Professor of Public Policy and Society from the University of Toronto, along with performances by Heluo Wushu Academy and Simcoe Arts and Culture Academy.
