Midhurst/March 14, 2024 – With ITSTARTS month continuing across the region, the County of Simcoe is sharing more upcoming educational and training to promote multiculturalism and support inclusion, acceptance, and equity across the region.

International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination – March 21, 2024

The Simcoe County LIP and community champions will be screening a series of documentaries on March 21, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, in Council Chambers at the County Administration Centre. Documentaries include:

Employers are encouraged to join us for the Equity in Action: Building Inclusive Workplaces, facilitated by the Harmony Movement. This free employer training session will be focused on improving communication and understanding between diverse groups in a workplace setting and supporting participants to have informed conversations when issues of inequity and discrimination arise.
