Family Day – February 19, 2024
Midhurst/February 15, 2024 – The County of Simcoe reminds residents of the following schedule changes on Family Day 2024.
Curbside Waste Collection and Waste Drop-off Facilities
- Waste Collection is ongoing on Family Day as there is no change to the County’s waste collection schedule
- All County Waste Drop-off Facilities are closed on Monday, February 19
LINX Transit
- LINX Transit services are not in operation on Monday, February 19 (with the exception of Route 4)
- Route 4 only will be operating a Sunday schedule on Monday, February 19
- Return to regularly scheduled services for all routes on February 20

County Administration Centre (Midhurst)
- The Administration Centre, including the Contact Centre, will be closed to the public on Monday, February 19
Ontario Works and Children Services
- All Ontario Works and Children Services offices are closed on Monday, February 19
Simcoe County Museum
- The Museum will be open for its regularly scheduled hours (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), offering outdoor Family Day activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Simcoe County Archives
- The Archives is closed on Monday, February 19
