County celebrates transit workers across the region

Midhurst/March 18, 2023 – On Transit Worker Appreciation Day, the County of Simcoe is celebrating the important contributions of transit staff and recognizing the important role they play in keeping the local economy moving.

“It is important to take a moment to recognize the hard-working staff across the region who ensure our local economy keeps moving every day,” said Warden Basil Clarke. “Transit Worker Appreciation Day is an important recognition of the dedicated transit staff who get us to work, appointments, school, and across the region each day. We know that it is because of them that we see the continued success of LINX Transit across the region and we are incredibly grateful to them for their commitment to keep us moving.”
