County and Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness to launch housing program for homeless veterans

Midhurst/July 10, 2026 – The County of Simcoe and Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness (CAEH) are once again partnering to reduce homelessness in Simcoe County with a new program supported through the Homelessness Reduction Innovation Fund (HRIF), a federal initiative led by CAEH to fuel innovative projects that rapidly and measurably reduce homelessness in communities across the country. Together at Canadian Forces Base Borden, they will launch a housing program for homeless veterans in the region, ensuring that those who served their country have stable housing and support when they need it most.
