Warden’s Gala surpasses $1 million raised for United Way Simcoe Muskoka
After 19 years, the County of Simcoe Warden’s Gala has officially pushed the event’s cumulative fundraising total to more than $1 million in support of United Way Simcoe Muskoka, marking a significant milestone in community generosity.
Since its inception, the Warden’s Gala has brought together businesses and community leaders with a shared commitment to strengthening local supports and improving outcomes for individuals and families across Simcoe County. Funds raised through the Gala directly support United Way Simcoe Muskoka’s vital work in addressing local poverty, supporting vulnerable residents, and building up stronger, more resilient communities.
“Reaching the $1‑million mark after 19 years is an extraordinary milestone, and it speaks to the heart of our communities,” said Warden Basil Clarke. “On behalf of County Council and each Warden who had the privilege of hosting this event, I extend my deepest thanks to the many sponsors who have stood with us over the years. Their generosity, partnership, and belief in the power of community have made a lasting impact on the lives of residents across Simcoe County. This achievement belongs to us all.”
United Way Simcoe Muskoka remains a key partner in delivering programs and services that address complex social challenges and create pathways to stability and opportunity for residents throughout the region.
