Midhurst/March 26, 2024 – The County of Simcoe reminds residents of the following schedule changes during the Easter holiday weekend.
Curbside Waste Collection and Waste Drop-off Facilities
- There will be no change to your regular curbside waste collection schedule
- March 29 – All County Waste Drop-off Facilities will be CLOSED
- March 30 – All County Waste Facilities will be OPEN (with the exception of Matchedash)
- April 1 – All County Waste Facilities will be CLOSED (with the exception of Matchedash)
*Waste Collection updates are not applicable to the cities of Barrie and Orillia.
LINX Transit
- LINX Transit services are not in operation on March 29 with the exception of Route 4, which will be operating on a Sunday schedule

County Administration Centre (Midhurst)
- The Administration Centre, including the Service Simcoe Contact Centre, will be closed to the public on March 29 and April 1
Ontario Works
- All Ontario Works offices are closed on March 29 and April 1
Children’s Services
- All Children’s Services offices are closed on March 29 and April 1
Simcoe County Museum
- The Museum will be closed on March 29 and March 31
- Regularly scheduled hours on March 30 and April 1 (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)

Simcoe County Archives
- The Archives is closed on March 29 and April 1
