*ATV and Off-Road Motorcycle Trails are closed yearly from December 1 until May 1*
Off-road motorized vehicles are allowed ONLY on designated trails and require:
- A valid permit from the relevant off-road vehicle club;
- Valid vehicle insurance;
- Vehicle plates, displayed in the manner prescribed by the Off-Road Vehicles Act;
- Proof of vehicle ownership;
- Operator must wear an approved DOT helmet;
- Vehicle must be equipped with a spark arrestor;
- Noise decibel of 94db or less.
You must be a club member and in good standing to legally ride. Please be part of the solution and join one of the local clubs working to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all users:
- Snowmobiles: Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC)
- ATVs & Side by Sides: Ontario Federation of All Terrain Vehicle Clubs (OFATV) & Central Ontario ATV Club (COATV)
- Off-Road Motorcycles: Ontario Federation of Trail Riders (OFTR) & Simcoe County Off Road Riders Association (SCORRA)
