EVENT REQUESTS


​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Organized events within the County Forest​ must have a valid Property Use Agreement in effect and comply with the Recreation Policy.  This includes any activity which is advertised or if participants are charged a fee, but does not include organized hikes or nature walks. If you wish to hold an organized event, please contact the County Forestry Department at least three months prior to the planned date.  A completed copy of the Property Use Agreement Application is required.​

TEMPORARY ACCESS REQUESTS


Access to County Forest lands beyond standard permitted activities requires a Temporary Access Permit. Examples include:

  • Crossing County Forest to access private property for logging or maintenance
  • Vehicle access
  • Forestry research or seed collection
  • Other special uses

How to Apply:

Submit an application detailing the purpose, location, and dates of access. Depending on the activity, fees, insurance, and membership requirements may apply.
