Spend Family Day at the Simcoe County Museum


Midhurst/ February 15, 2024 – Looking for fun family activities on Family Day? The Simcoe County Museum has you covered!

Open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Simcoe County Museum is hosting a selection of indoor and outdoor activities including snowshoeing, tobogganing and access to the skate trail, weather permitting, and fingers crossed!

Indoors, visitors can enjoy a games lounge, tour of our Museum galleries and experience our travelling exhibit Tales of Fantasy on loan from the Sherbrooke Museum of Nature and Science. Friends of the Simcoe County Museum are offering a Food Room where guests can warm up with a bowl of chili or a hot dog.

Special event cost pricing: $10 adults, $8 seniors and youth, $5 children, preschoolers and Museum Members free. All activities are included with event admission, and guests are reminded to dress for the weather, bring their own skates, helmets, skate assists and toboggans. Snowshoe rentals and crazy carpets are available free of charge.
