Midhurst/December 1, 2023 – County of Simcoe Paramedic Services Food and Toy Drive is in full swing, so far collecting more than 700 toys, 380 lbs of food, and $5,600 in cash and gift cards.
The Food and Toy Drive benefits local children and families during the holiday season. Donations, along with new, unwrapped toys and food will be accepted at various locations across Simcoe County. Visit simcoe.ca/toydrive <<< Add Link to {Page Name}>>> to learn more.
Paramedics remind residents that giving a little can help a lot and virtual donations continue to be accepted. Over the next week, Paramedics will be collecting donations at the following locations:
Saturday, December 2, 2023
Midland Walmart – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Coldwater Foodland – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Coldwater Santa Claus Parade – 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Stayner Santa Claus Parade – 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Creemore Santa Claus Parade – 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Sunday, December 3, 2023
Moonstone Christmas in the Park – 1 to 3 p.m.
Lisle Santa Claus Parade – 1:30 to 3 p.m.
The MTB Exchange – 10 a.m.
Thursday, December 7 and Friday, December 8, 2023
Simcoe Museum – Victorian Christmas – 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Donations can be also made at the County of Simcoe Administration Centre, 1110 Highway 26 in Midhurst and at all County of Simcoe Paramedic Services stations, where outdoor drop boxes are now available (please do not leave monetary donations in drop boxes – only non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys).
