Midhurst/May 14, 2024 – The County of Simcoe reminds residents of the following schedule changes on Monday, May 20 for Victoria Day:
Curbside Waste Collection and Waste Drop-off Facilities
- Waste Collection is ongoing on Victoria Day as there is no change to the County’s waste collection schedule
- All County Waste Drop-off Facilities are closed on Monday, May 20 with the exception of Matchedash in Coldwater, which will be open from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
*Waste Collection updates are not applicable to the cities of Barrie and Orillia.
LINX Transit
- LINX Transit services are not in operation on Monday, May 20 (with the exception of Route 4)
- Route 4 only will be operating a Sunday schedule on Monday, May 20

County Administration Centre (Midhurst)
- The Administration Centre, including the Service Simcoe Contact Centre, will be closed to the public on Monday, May 20
Ontario Works and Children Services
- All Ontario Works offices are closed on Monday, May 20
Simcoe County Museum
- The Museum will be open for its regularly scheduled hours (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)

Simcoe County Archives
- The Archives is closed on Monday, May 20
