County of Simcoe Paramedic Services Toy Drive Update – Week Two


Midhurst/November 24, 2022 – County of Simcoe Paramedic Services kicked off the 20th annual Toy Drive on November 18, 2022, benefitting local children and families during the holiday season. Virtual donations, along with new, unwrapped toys and food will be accepted at various locations across Simcoe County until December 16, 2022. Visit simcoe.ca/toydrive to learn more.

This weekend, Paramedics will be collecting donations at the following locations​:

November 26

  • Midland Civitan Club Santa Claus Parade ~ 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Wasaga Beach Santa Claus Parade & Tree Lighting ~ 3 to 7 p.m.
  • Elmvale Food and Toy Collection ~ 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

November 27

  • Waubaushene Santa Claus Parade ~ 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Innisfil Santa Claus Parade ~ 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

A reminder that Paramedics are encouraging residents to consider donating virtually by visiting https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/simcoe-county-paramedic-association/.

Donations can also be made at the County of Simcoe Administration Centre, 1110 Highway 26 in Midhurst, and at all County of Simcoe Paramedic Services stations, where outdoor drop boxes are now available (please do not leave monetary donations in drop boxes – only non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys).
