Quotes

United Way Simcoe Muskoka has been an outstanding community partner and life-changing organization for many of our residents, especially given the challenges of the past few years. We are so grateful to be able to support this important work. Thank you to all the individuals, businesses, and organizations who continue to give so generously to the Warden’s Gala. ~ County of Simcoe Warden Basil Clarke.

Thanks to the Warden’s Gala, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been reinvested into our community to support our most vulnerable friends and neighbours. We at United Way Simcoe Muskoka thank the County for their ongoing commitment to promoting social inclusion and poverty reduction strategies through this event. ~ Brian Shelley, Chief Executive and Philanthropy Officer, United Way Simcoe Muskoka.

The County wishes to thank all sponsors, including presenting sponsor Cortel Group; gold sponsors Crozier Consulting Engineers, Geranium, Nottawasaga Inn, Salter Pilon Architecture, FLATO Developments Inc, Mattamy Homes and Harvest (New Tecumseth Community Builders Inc.); and silver sponsors Intact Public Entities, Loopstra Nixon LLP, MediSystem Pharmacy, DECAST Ltd, Miller Waste Systems, and SCS Consulting Group LTD; and soiree sponsor Hemson Consulting Ltd. for their tremendous support.

The County of Simcoe is a proud partner of United Way Simcoe Muskoka in part because of a shared mission to build up our communities and residents. The challenges of the past few years have had a disproportionate impact on the most vulnerable in our communities, only increasing the gap for those struggling. Funds raised through events such as this continue to be used to make positive impacts on the social issues that limit opportunities for many vulnerable residents and families.
