Family Day – February 20, 2023
Midhurst/February 16, 2023 – The County of Simcoe reminds residents of the following schedule changes on Family Day 2023.
County Administration Centre (Midhurst)
- The Administration Centre will be closed to the public on Monday, February 20, including the Service Simcoe Contact Centre and Ontario Works office
Simcoe County Museum
- The Museum will be open for its regularly scheduled hours (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), offering outdoor Family Day activities from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and indoor activities beginning at 10 a.m.

Simcoe County Archives
- The Archives are closed on Monday, February 20
Landfills and Curbside Waste Collection
- Waste Collection is ongoing on Family Day as there is no change to the County’s waste collection schedule
- Waste Drop-off Facilities are closed on Monday, February 20. They will re-open February 21
LINX Transit
- LINX Transit services are not in operation on February 20 (with the exception of Route 4)
- Route 4 onlywill be operating a Sunday schedule on Monday, February 20
- Return to regularly scheduled services for all routes on February 21

Ontario Works and Children Services
- All Ontario Works offices and Children Services are closed on Monday, February 20
