What is Reaching Home?
Reaching Home: The Government of Canada’s Homelessness Strategy is a community-based program aimed at preventing and reducing homelessness across Canada by providing funding to local communities to help them address their local homelessness needs.
The Community Advisory Board (CAB) is the local organizing committee responsible for setting direction for addressing homelessness in the community or region.
In Simcoe County, the Designated Communities stream of Reaching Home funding is administered by the County of Simcoe, as the Community Entity (CE), covering the geographic area of Simcoe County.
