
Waubaushene Paramedic Station

In May 2025, County of Simcoe Paramedic Services officially broke ground on the new Waubaushene Paramedic Station, located on Sturgeon Bay Road near the Highway 400 extension.
The three‑bay station is strategically positioned to help emergency responders reach residents and visitors faster during urgent situations. Construction is expected to be completed by late 2026.
Project Purpose
This new facility is a key component of the County of Simcoe Paramedic Services Strategic Facilities Plan, first approved in 2008. The plan aims to:
- Improve response times — strategically locating stations to reach emergency calls faster
- Enhance operational efficiency — modern spaces designed for today’s paramedic needs
- Support a growing and diverse community — ensuring services keep pace with population change
