Oro-Medonte Line 3 Culvert 057052 Replacement
The existing structure consists of a 3.7m span by 1.8m rise reinforced concrete T-Beam structure with concrete box culvert extensions. The original T-Beam structure was constructed circa 1935 and underwent a rehabilitation in 1965 which included extending both sides of the structures with a cast-in-place reinforced concrete box culvert. The culvert has reached the end of its useful life and County of Simcoe is undertaking a culvert replacement and make other improvements including installing retaining walls, new steel beam guiderails and new pavement wearing surface to improve traffic safety and driving comfort over the bridge.
Timelines (subject to change as project proceeds)
Construction will begin on July 8 2024 and continue until October 2024.
