Midhurst/October 2, 2024 – Media are invited to attend an event marking a significant milestone in the Give-A-Lift Bus Fundraising Campaign on Tuesday, October 8 at 9:30 a.m.
The Give a Lift campaign was launched at each of the County’s four long-term care and seniors services homes in early 2019. In total, the goal of the Give-A-Lift campaign was to raise $450,000 to purchase four accessible buses to connect residents and clients with their communities. This number grew to $600,000 following the pandemic due to rising costs of the vehicles.
