Passionate about delivering high-quality care? As a Registered Nurse with our Long -Term Care and Seniors Services, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our residents’ safety and well-being, while also leading and mentoring a dynamic team of nurses.

Your role:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with physicians’ orders, combined with County and Ministry policies and procedures
  • Supervise and support Personal Support Workers (PSWs), Registered Practical Nurses (PRNs) and other professionals, while also fostering a collaborative environment
  • Assess residents’ needs, develop personalized care plans, and respond to changes in health
  • Administer treatments and medications, monitor symptoms, and provide education on health practices as needed
  • Uphold confidentiality, comply with regulations, and ensure proper handling of medications and equipment
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Community Commitment Program for Nurses – Receive $25,000 for two year commitment

The Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN) was created by Ontario Health (Health Force Ontario) to attract Registered Nurses (RNs), Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs), and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to work in Ontario. This incentive provides $25,000 to eligible nurses in exchange for a two-year commitment.

To be eligible for the CCPN, a nurse must:

  • Not have been employed as a nurse in Ontario in the six months prior to being hired;
  • Hold a Certificate of Registration in good standing from the College of Nurses of Ontario;
  • Begin employment between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025 (confirmation of extension beyond March 31, 2025 will be communicated as early as possible);
  • Commit to 24-months of employment at a full-time work schedule offered by the employer; and
  • Not simultaneously receive funds from the Ministry of Health for the Tuition Support Program for Nurses.​
