Do you love creating meals that nourish and delight? As a Cook with the County’s Long-Term Care and Seniors Services teams, you’ll ensure every meal is prepared and served with care, supporting residents’ safety and well-being in alignment with our mission and vision.
Your role:
- Prepare and serve meals according to menus, recipes, and therapeutic guidelines, ensuring quality and timeliness
- Supervise Dietary Aides, maintain sanitation standards, and support with the efficient operation of the dietary department
- Collaborate with the Dietary Supervisor to implement policies, manage inventory, and deliver specialized diets as needed
- Maintain food and equipment safety standards while adhering to infection control practices and health regulations
- Foster a safe and responsive environment for residents, staff, and visitors alike
