Special Requests

You can apply and make special requests from the Warden of the County of Simcoe including those listed below.

Please note there is a minimum of two-weeks advance notice for any special requests.

Residents and organizations may request a flag to be raised by the County at the ceremonial flag pole located at the County of Simcoe Administration Centre in Midhurst for purposes such as recognition of charitable fundraising campaign or event. Requests are subject to availability and other requirements/conditions.

Proclamations are ceremonial documents issued and signed by the Warden to recognize the value and importance of a person, an event, a campaign, or an organization for a certain day, week or month. Acknowledgement is normally given to reward the efforts and commitment of individuals and organizations that enhance our community and are significant to County of Simcoe programs and/or residents.

The County of Simcoe Warden offers a letter of congratulations to residents, businesses and organizations celebrating significant milestones, including birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
