The County Forest contains many natural hazards. Simcoe County does not maintain trails and therefore cannot guarantee public or user safety. All users who access the County Forest do so at their own risk.
Due to the recent ice storm, all users are advised to exercise increased caution if entering Simcoe County Forests. Many trails and access roads remain covered with debris, and significant overhead hazards may exist due to broken branches which remain stuck in the canopy. View Impacted County Forest Map which indicates County Forest properties which have been severely impacted by the recent ice storm. Trails are closed at this time and users are advised to visit alternate locations.
