Midhurst/January 30, 2026 – In honour of Black History Month, the Simcoe County Museum is hosting a reflective virtual lecture series with multiple sessions throughout the month of February. Each session will feature expert speakers and local historians exploring different aspects of the Black Canadian experience and its rich history. Celebrate Black History Month with us and deepen your understanding of Canada’s diverse heritage.
The series runs throughout February, with each lecture lasting 30-45 minutes followed by a Q&A session with the presenter. Topics include African Diaspora Women’s Lives of Resilience, Black Canadian Historical Settlements and Communities, and more.
