Following is a list of descriptive finding aids for records in the custody of the Simcoe County Archives. When you visit the Archives, the Finding Aid will be your primary research tool. It will identify the person or group primarily responsible for the creation or assembly of the records, the dates of creation, and will provide a physical description of the records. It may also provide an administrative history or biographical sketch (information about the creator of the records), a custodial history, and information relating to the general contents, nature and scope of the material. The level at which the actual records are described (item, file, series, etc.) may vary from one finding aid to the next.
