The Simcoe County Quilt, Rug and Craft Fair will run this year from September 17 to September 19. This fair showcases wonderful heritage crafts that are handcrafted throughout our region.

County of Simcoe and local school boards partner in Learning & Living Green initiative

The County of Simcoe is partnering with the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) and Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board (SMCDSB) to launch Learning & Living Green, a project that helps teach students that being green is easier then they may think.

County of Simcoe Takes Steps to Modernize Emergency Vehicles Fleet

The County of Simcoe is modernizing its emergency vehicle fleet to ensure they are well equipped to save lives while operating with reduced green house gas emissions.

The County, in partnership with Fleet Challenge Ontario, Simplicity Air and Demers Ambulance, have been working together since December 2009 to develop a prototype ambulance as part of the police and EMS vehicle idling reduction demonstration project.

County of Simcoe Paramedics Spearhead Heart Attack By-Pass Protocol

In response to recent studies demonstrating the benefit of emergency angioplasty for heart attack patients, the County of Simcoe Paramedic Services has teamed up with Southlake Regional Health Centre as well as Royal Victoria Hospital, and Stevenson Memorial Hospital to launch a new program that ensures individuals suspected of having a heart attack receive the best possible care.
